The town of Malacky is an important cultural center of Záhorie. During the year, the town and various organizations organize exhibitions, concerts and events. The most well-known are Music Spring, 1st May Festival in Malacky, Children's Joy Day, Cultural Summer, Hunting Day,  Theater Festival, Malacká šošovica and Adventné Malacky.

March - the month of book

March - the month of the book was first declared in the former Czechoslovakia in 1955 in honor of Matej Hrebenda, as an effort to maintain and support a lasting interest in books. The Slovak Libraries Week, announced by the Slovak Library Association in 1999, also fits well into the month of the book, and the last week of March is regularly organized. The goal of the Slovak Libraries Week is to positively raise the profile of libraries as cultural and educational institutions through the most diverse range of activities and events. Every year, the Town Library prepares discussions with writers, quizzes, exhibitions, experiential readings, free enrollment of new readers and many other activities for the public. The culmination of the Slovak Libraries Week is an event to support children's reading - Night with Andersen.
 

Music Spring

Music Spring is a music event that takes place every year in March and April. It is a series of concerts of various music genres.
 

1st May Festival

The city of Malacky, as the main organizer in cooperation with city organizations, has been preparing the magnificent 1st May Festival  event every year since 2001. On this day, Malacky is visited not only by the inhabitants of the city, but by the entire region. During the  Festival, citizens and tourists, old and young alike, have the opportunity for cultural and sports activities, with a number of craft stalls and events for the whole day. Visitors to the event can look forward to folk music concerts, performances by pop and rock groups, theater performances, sports competitions and fun games for the little ones.
 

Museums and galleries day

For those interested in history and good entertainment, MCK Malacky - Michal Tillner Museum is preparing a two-day event Museums and Galleries Day and Museums and Galleries Night with a varied program and creative workshops for children. Visitors have free admission to the museum, crypt and manor house. In addition to the permanent exhibitions, visitors can always see something extra, such as items that are not normally exhibited from the museum's depository.
 

Children's Joy Day

The date of June 1 traditionally belongs to children. Pleasant atmosphere, great mood and a rich program full of games, laughter, fun, so it is possible to briefly characterize the sports and entertainment day for children and parents Children's Day. Children will find various competitions and games, a traveling puppet theater and many other attractions. Children's attractions are accompanied by pleasant music of famous singers and singing groups.
 

Cultural summer
Summer holidays are a time of vacation and well-being. Pleasant weather attracts to nature and therefore the events of the Cultural Summer are held in the open air. These are usually lectures on various topics, film screenings, concerts and theater performances for children in the Manor House and in the Manor House Park. The programs of the Cultural Summer include attractive program surprises every year and are available free of charge or for a symbolic price only.
 

Theater festival "Zejdeme sa na hambálku"
A non-competitive show of theatrical productions organized by the Theater - Divadlo na hambálku. Festival is known for its friendly atmosphere. In a few days, it brings a confrontation of amateur and professional theater ensembles at affordable prices. In addition to performances for adults, he always has something ready for children, whether in the form of organized performances for schools or Sunday performances for the youngest children. However, children and young people participate in the festival not only as spectators, but also as performers. Each festival is also enriched by accompanying events, such as workshops, improvisation competitions, exhibitions, concerts and dance parties. "Hambál fair" is a traditional event and the culmination of the festival.
 

The Theater Night
Every year, the Theater "Divadlo na Hambálku" participates in a European event, which is sponsored by the Bratislava Theater Institute in Slovakia.
 

Christmas exhibition ART CLUB 2002
The gallery of the City Center for Culture hosts the exhibitions of the Art Club 2002 every year, which is made up of artists who are united by long-standing friendship and love of art. 
 

Advent in the town 
Every year in December, social life is transferred to the streets of Malaciek, where pleasant Christmas music is played and Christmas punch sounds everywhere. The cycle of Advent events in Malacky is traditionally opened by lighting the first Advent candle in the Franciscan Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, performed by important singers. The sixth of December is dedicated to St. Nicholas events, which are intended for children. The last weekend of Advent is dedicated to the Christmas market. Within them, children from Malaciek and the surrounding area, folklore ensembles, will perform on the stage. Rock or pop sounds in the pre-Christmas Malacky. Theater, artists, photographers and all their visitors come together.
